This is a lovely Pair of Antique Victorian Solid Silver Gravy Ladles. Double struck with the Renaissance Pattern including part of the rear of the bowls As you can see from the photograph the pattern is very pronounced and decorative. The top of the handles have a circular cartouche which are still blank on both sides, so they could be personalised. They are made from a good guage of silver and have clear hallmarks Assay Office: LONDON Date: 1877/78 Makers Marks: HH (Henry Holland - of Holland Aldwinckle & Slater) Weighing in at 164 grams these are a quality pair 6.75 inches long with the bowls 2 inches long by 2.5 wide. Arts & Crafts Peruvian 925 Silver stunning large serving spoon It has a beautiful shaped bowl rectangualr in form and narrower at its base. The bowl is connected to the handle by this Arts & crafts style woven silver supports At its junction with the handle is a stone inset into the silver in a pretty turquoise or greenish colour The long handle continues in plain silver and the the rest of the handle is in a hardwood. Each items have the Albany pattern to both sides of the handles.They come complete in their original blue lined fitted box Hallmarks for LONDON, Fork date letter "Q" 1891/92 the Spoon date letter "R" 1892/93 with Silver Makers Marks: GMJ (Josiah Williams & Co - George Maudsley Jackson)


They weigh a total of 38gThe bowl of the spoon has a few shallow dents, and the prongs of the fork are a little worn..There is also light surface scratching, which is only to be expected on metal items, but this is minor and commensurate with age and use

Antique Silver Toddy Ladle

Antique Silver Toddy Ladle. Hallmarked London 1786 offered for sale by Silver2treasure from their ebay store, just click the picture link at the foot of this post.


It has a long slender solid silver neck and then a long wooden handle which has a part twisted pattern at the top, which is then finished with a silver coloured tip. It has clear hallmarks which are stamped in the base of the bowl, except for the makers marks which are completely rubbed apart from the remains of the base of two letters. It measure 14.5 inches long in total. The bowl is 2.5 inches in diameter and 1 inch deep A very useable item and a nice piece of antique Georgian silver for any collector. Stock No.4920
