The spoon is described as having a very decorative fancy handle which has an embossed scroll, leaf and flower pattern and a very fancy shaped terminal which has a small oval cartouche in it, which is still blank. It also has a part twisted pattern to the handle and the which is patterned on both sides. It has an egg shaped bowl which has a crimped edge. It is made from a good guage of silver and has clear hallmarks when you find them in amongst the highly decorative pattern. it carries Hallmarks for LONDON 1891/92 with Silver Makers Marks: C.E (Charles Edwards).

6 Silver Dessert Spoons Hallmarked Sheffield 1912

6 Silver Dessert Spoons Hallmarked Sheffield 1912. They are plain in design apart from the Old English pattern to the back of the handles. They do have a letter "h" engraved in Old English script to the top of the handle and they are made from a good guage of silver and have clear hallmarks. Silver Makers Marks: W.S.S & Co (W S Savage & Co)

Dimensions: 7.25 inches long in total, the bowls 2.5 inches long and 1.5 inches wide at their widest point. They weigh a total of 302g

Condition: They are all in very good condition, and I have to say they look as if they have been hardly used, if at all

Remarks: A very good set of 6 solid silver dessert spoons, ideal for adding to a collection of cutlery or starting one
