Silver Spoons Newly Listed

6-Silver-Gilt-Flower-Enamel-Spoons-IMG_66256 Silver Gilt Flower Enamel Spoons. The bowls are extrememly pretty having a pearly white enamel background with enamelled orange flowers that have yellow centres, surrounded by green leaves and brown stems. The backs of the bowls are completely plain. They have Art Deco shaped terminals and a lined pattern to both sides of the handles. They do come in a black box but I cannot confirm if this is the original. Although they have the same Assay Office, and makers, they do have slightly different date letters, but I can confirm that the spoons are exactly the same. Stock Number 4563

Antique Silver Salt Spoon Hallmarks 1904

antique-silver-salt-spoon-IMG_6339Antique  Silver Salt Spoon hallmarked Birmingham 1904 with Silver Makers Marks by William Davenport.  It has a thin circular handle culminating with a ball terminal. It measures  3 inches long in total, the diameter of the bowl is 0.5 inch.  It weighs 1g ..

As you can see from the photograph it does have some pitting to the bowl (but I have to say that it looks far worse in the photograph than it actually is).  The bowl is also very slightly mis-shapen but this is very minor.  A nice little antique solid silver salt spoon and a must if you have a solid silver salt without a spoon or you need to match another one that you might already have.
