Antique Sterling Silver Spoons and Tongs Cased Set of 6 Hallmarks Sheffield 1908 offered for sale by Silver2treasure.

The handles I can best describe as having a zig zag lined pattern following the outline of the handles and having pointed terminals. The spoons and tongs come in their original fitted burgundy lined box which is stamped on the inside of the lid with the Walker & Hall mark. They are made from a good guage of silver and have clear hallmarks. Makers Marks: W & H (Walker & Hall).

Dimensions: The spoons are 4 inches long in total, the bowls being 1.25 inches long and 0.75 inch wide at their widest point. The tongs are 4 inches long. The total weight is 98g.

Condition: The spoons and the tongs are all in very good condition and so too is the box inside but there is some wear to the covering of the outside, but the catch is fine and the lid closes tightly.

Remarks: This is a very good cased set of antique solid silver 6 spoons and tongs that if you did not want to keep them for yourself, they would make a lovely Engagement, Wedding or Silver Wedding present.
