This is an example of an Antique Solid Silver Irish Basting Spoon. It has a Celtic point to the terminal and is made from a good guage of silver. It has an armorial of a lion engraved at the top of the handle. There are remains of hallmarks but these are very worn but I can just make out the harp which makes it Dublin and I can also just make out the Hibernian mark.
Dimensions: 11.5 inches long, the bowl 3.5 inches long and 2 inches wide. It weighs 89g
Condition: There are a couple of minor dings to the bowl and some light surface scratching
Remarks: A good Irish solid silver basting spoon
