Georgian Silver Caddy Spoon Hallmarks London 1802 by Moses Brent offered for sale by Silver2treasure.
Antique Georgian Sterling Silver Caddy Spoon. It is plain in design with a fiddle pattern handle which has a very faint Old English pattern to the back. It has a large balloon shape bowl. There is no Assay Office which was not always struck on old pieces but it can only be London in conjunction with the other marks which are very clear except for part of the "M" in the makers mark being a little rubbed. 3.5 inches long in total, the bowl being 1.75 inches long and 1.25 inches wide. It weighs 10g.
Overall it is in good condition with just a shallow pin prick ding in the bowl and some very light surface scratching which is only to be expected on a metal item but this is minor and commensurate with age and use. A very good antique Georgian 208 year old solid silver caddy spoon and a nice addition to any collection.
