Silver Spoons Newly Listed

6-Silver-Gilt-Flower-Enamel-Spoons-IMG_66256 Silver Gilt Flower Enamel Spoons. The bowls are extrememly pretty having a pearly white enamel background with enamelled orange flowers that have yellow centres, surrounded by green leaves and brown stems. The backs of the bowls are completely plain. They have Art Deco shaped terminals and a lined pattern to both sides of the handles. They do come in a black box but I cannot confirm if this is the original. Although they have the same Assay Office, and makers, they do have slightly different date letters, but I can confirm that the spoons are exactly the same. Stock Number 4563

Silver Spoons Danish

danish-silver-spoons-IMG_9111Danish Silver Spoons by Christian F Heise offered for sale by Silver2treasure.

They have flat circular bowls and they have very pretty decorative handles to the front which I can best describe as having an embossed pattern of bows and wheat surrounding the diamond shaped blank cartouch. Further down the handle there there is an Art Deco style pattern of graduating raised lines and below is a pattern which I can best describe as "bOd"). These patterns are mirrored at the base of the handle where they meet the bowls. They are made from a good guage of silver and have clear Danish silver marks.

Identifying Marks: They have the 3 towers which denotes it is is a minimum of 826 standard silver with a "12" underneath which confirms the date of 1912 and then the makers marks of CHF (Christian F Heise). They are also stamped "L.J.L"

Dimensions: They are 5.5 inches long in total with the bowls just under 1.75 inches in diameter. They weigh a total of 39g

Condition: They are in very good condition

Remarks: This is a very good pair of Danish silver spoons having flat circular shaped bowls and very decorative handles. They would be ideal preserve spoons or for serving sauces etc.
