Sifter Spoon Danish Silver

Sifter Spoon Danish Silver by Christian F Heise offered for sale by Silver2treasure.

It has a large ballon shape bowl which has a beaded decoration around the back sides of the bowl. It has shaped sifter holes which include a ribbon like pattern running down the centre. The front of the handle is also very decorative with an embossed garland and beaded decoration and decorative terminal. It is made from a good guage of Danish silver and has clear marks.

Identifying Marks: It has the 3 towers which denotes it is is a minimum of 826 standard silver with a "13" underneath which confirms the date of 1913 and then the makers marks of CHF (Christian F Heise). There is also another mark but I am afraid that I cannot describe (so please email for additional photographs) and also it is stamped "PC".

Dimensions: It is 7 inches long in total, the bowl being 2.25 inches long and 2 inches wide. It weighs 37g.

Condition: It is in very good condition.

Remarks: This really is a lovely Danish silver very pretty sifter spoon.

Silver Basting Spoon Danish

Silver Very Large Basting Spoon Danish offered for sale by Silver2treasure.

It has an embossed pattern to the top of the handle and also in the middle of the handle which I can best describe it as looking like "181". This is no doubt a named pattern but I am afraid that I cannot confirm what it is. It is made from a good guage of Danish silver and has clear marks. I cannot stress what a large spoon this is so please take note of the dimensions

Identifying Marks: It has the 3 towers which denotes it is is a minimum of 826 standard silver with a "13" underneath which confirms the date of 1913 and then the makers marks of CHF (Christian F Heise). There is also another mark but I am afraid that I cannot describe (so please see the additional photographs below) and also it is stamped "PC"

Dimensions: It is 15.5 inches long in total with the bowl being 5 inches long and 3.25 inches wide at its widest point. It weighs 194g

Condition: Overall it is in very good condition with just a couple of little pin prick dings to the huge egg shaped bowl and some very very light surface scratching which is only to be expected on a metal item, but this is very minor

Remarks: This really is a large and impressive Danish silver very large basting/serving spoon. I do also have other Danish silver cutlery and serving items with the same pattern, so please do not miss them
