Antique Silver Jam Spoon Hallmarks Birmingham 1910 offered for sale by Silver2treasure.
It has a fancy shaped flat bowl which has a very pretty engraved leaf pattern to the front. The handle also has this engraved leaf pattern which runs all the way up the front of the handle with a blank slanting rectangular cartouche near the top. It is made from a good guage of silver and has clear marks. Makers Marks: J.G Ltd (Joseph Gloster Ltd)
Dimensions: 5.25 inches long in total, the bowl 2 inches long and 1.25 inches wide at its widest point. It weighs 24g.
Condition: It is in very good condition with just some very light surface scratching which is only to be expected on a metal item and is commensurate with age and use, but this is very minor.
Remarks: This is a very pretty and decorative antique solid silver jam/preserve spoon and ideal for daily use.
