Silver Tablespoon Hallmarks London 1831 by George Burrow II offered for sale by Silver2treasure.
Antique Sterling Silver Tablespoon. It has the Old English pattern to the back of the handle and a pretty bright cut pattern to the front of the handle including a flower and then a border which follows the outline of the handle. In the top is an engraved armorial of an animal but I am not sure what it is. It has clear hallmarks
Makers Marks: GB (George Burrow II)
Dimensions: 8.5 inches long in total, the bowl being 2.75 inches long and 1.75 inches wide at its widest point. It weighs 53g
Condition: Overall it is in good condition but it does have quite few minor dings to the bowl and there is some light surface scratching which is only to be expected on a metal item and is commensurate with age and use
Remarks: A good antique 174 year old solid silver tablespoon with a pretty engraving to the front of the handle with still many years of use left.
